Cairo astonished people around the globe with a one-of-a-kind extravaganza. Millions across the continents tuned in for the live stream where 22 of ancient Egypt’s most-preserved regal mummies were transferred from the Egyptian Museum in Downtown Cairo to the newly built National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) in Fustat.
