Winter is shedding its last feathers pouring us with rain, cloudy cold weather before spring officially comes and reigns for a while and we know that you’re as excited as we are for spring. No more coats or layered outfits. It’s soon time for bright colors, warm enough for everyday skirts and dresses. To launch the spring season perfectly, we decided to come back with 4 Tunisian brands that will make your wardrobe more colorful and springy.

1. Fouta Harissa

It’s the combination of the authentic Tunisian Culture and its beautiful aesthetics. Fouta Harissa makes you want to wear foutas all spring and summer long and have it with you wherever you go whether when going to the beach or staying at home. The purpose of the brand is to have sustainable and impassioned designs that are beautifully made and yet, functional.  Fouta(s) are handwoven in the Coast of Mahdia and all of their textiles are  Italian-spun 100% cotton yarn that’s then rhythmically hand woven and hand finished. . “ We are also Tunisians ourselves who believe everyone should eat Harissa (spicy flavorful chili paste) and benefit from the good taste and high-quality work of our country's artisans. “

2. Born in Exile

Born in Exileis a freshly new ready-to-wear brand having its roots in the Rich Lybian Culture. Its name, which is quite unique, represents how the designer and founder sees himself as if he was born in Exile due to Libya's political history. In case you missed our last article, we had the chance to interview the founder Ibrahim Shebani to know more about him and the brand. And while we were preparing for the interview, we talked about the new spring collection which made me even more eager to discover it and I couldn’t talk about it.  In case you have not checked it yet, Born in Exile’s new collection is a total vibe and mood from the garments and clothing pieces to the photoshoots and the clear dominance of the color blue in a huge part of the collection.

3. Indinya

Sustainable. Upcycled. Stylish.

In case you’re into bags and looking for originality, this Tunisian baby brand is for you to discover and you don’t even have to worry about the environment!

Indinya literally means in Tunisian Arabic Dialect “ In life” “في الحياة” which showcases the quality of their products as if in real life.

This brand works on different hand-crafted products with different local artisans and with natural resources that are beneficial to the customer, the user, and to the environment, such as sustainable bags ( fabric extracted from cement ), natural candles with sophisticated and sustainable packages.

4. Bymani

Chic. Feminine. Vogue. Timeless.

Those are the 4 words that can simply describe Bymani, a Tunisian brand that designs and produces in Tunisia. Their earthly/pastel colors and their simple and yet chic style makes you want to show the wonder woman/man inside of you while never losing connection with the earthly touch.

Their pieces are currently available at Supersouk Shop.
